i was a good patient at the doctor's office this morning. i am now over 10 pounds! i won't be able to wear my yellow safari pants much longer...

friday afternoon

it feels like spring today. mom & i went out in the backyard because we had cabin fever!

dr. chad is lending his expertise at the hematologist's office today. my bloodwork looked pretty good, and my bilirubin is completely normal!

my due date

today is my due date, february 9th. happy due date birthday to me! as of now, i am a full-term baby. of course, i weigh over NINE pounds and mom is starting to appreciate the fact that i came early....

we don't sleep a whole lot lately, but sometimes mom and i get to close our eyes for a minute!

today i went to my hematologist. since it takes awhile, they give us a room with a bed. we can all lie down and take a break while we wait for my bloodwork results. daddy and i went to sleep. my blood results were good and i didn't need a transfusion this time!
also, the nurse weighed me and i was nine whole pounds! that's a lot, considering that my due date is not until later this week!

i look so cute when i'm sitting in my boppy pillow. it is perfect for helping me sit up a little and be comfy while hanging out with mom and dad in the floor. i think mom likes the boppy even more than me, 'cause i look so darn cute in it!

last night i took my very first "real" bath in my new baby bathtub. at first it was a little strange, then i realized the warm water was somewhat relaxing. afterwards, my hair was frizzy.
